Appointment of a Salaried Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales): Shastri-Hurst

The Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP, has appointed Naomi Shastri-Hurst (née Owen) to be a Salaried Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales).

Naomi Shastri-Hurst (née Owen) will be assigned to the South East England Region with effect from 3 April 2023.

Background Information

Naomi Shastri-Hurst (née Owen) will be known as Employment Judge Shastri-Hurst. She was Called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2008. In 2020, she was appointed as a Fee-paid Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunal (England and Wales), and as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber.
