Circuit Bench Retirement: Cross KC
His Honour Judge Anthony Maurice Cross KC retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 8 October 2022.
Background information
His Honour Judge Cross KC was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1982, took Silk in 2006 and was elected a Bencher in 2016. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2002, was a Deemster, Isle of Man, from 2012 to 2016, Vice Chairman of the Criminal Bar Association from 2013 to 2014 and Chairman of the Criminal Bar Association from 2014 to 2015. He was appointed a Circuit Judge in 2016 and was a Criminal Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2016 to 2022.
