Circuit Bench Retirement: Marson KC
His Honour Judge Geoffrey Charles Marson KC retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 November 2022.
Background information
His Honour Judge Marson KC was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1975 and took Silk in 1997. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1991, a Recorder in 1995 and a part-time President of the Mental Health Review Tribunal (Restricted Patients Panel) in 2000. He was appointed a Circuit Judge in 2005 and was a Criminal Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2016 to 2022.
