Circuit Judge Appointment: Capon
Her Late Majesty The Queen has appointed Philip Christopher William Capon to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the then Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford County Court with effect from 19 September 2022.
Background Information
Philip Christopher William Capon will be known as His Honour Judge Capon. He was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1990. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010 and as a District Judge in 2014.
