Circuit Judge Appointment: Crowther
The King has appointed Lucy Crowther to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Brandon Lewis CBE MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Wales Circuit, based at Cardiff Crown Court with effect from 31 October 2022.
Lucy Crowther will be known as Her Honour Judge Lucy Crowther. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1999. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2016 and as a Fee Paid Judge of the Mental Health Tribunal for Wales in 2018.
