Circuit Judge Appointment: Cuthbert
The King has appointed Leslie Cuthbert to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Snaresbrook Crown Court with effect from 3 January 2024.
Leslie Cuthbert will be known as His Honour Judge Cuthbert. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1996. He was appointed as an Adjudicator of the Road User Charging Tribunal in 2002, as a Fee-paid First-tier Tribunal Judge, Health, Education and Social Care Chamber in 2007, as a Recorder in 2009, and as an Advisory Committee Member in 2011.
