Circuit Judge Appointment: Deacon QC
The Queen has appointed Emma Rebecca Deacon QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Woodgreen Crown Court with effect from 05 September 2022.
Background Information
Emma Rebecca Deacon will be known as Her Honour Judge Deacon QC. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1993 and took silk in 2016. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
