Circuit Judge Appointment: Duddridge

The Queen has appointed Robert James Duddridge to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable  Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court and Family Court with effect from 11 October 2021.

Background Information

Robert James Duddridge, aged 52, will be known as His Honour Judge Duddridge. He was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1992. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013 and as a District Judge in 2016.
