Circuit Judge Appointment: Greenan
The Queen has appointed Sarah Octavia Greenan to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Leeds Combined Court Centre with effect from 8 August 2022.
Background Information
Sarah Octavia Greenan will be known as Her Honour Judge Greenan. She was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1987. She was appointed as a Lawyer-Chair of the Residential Property Tribunal Service in 2002, as a Deputy District Judge in 2010, as a Tribunal Judge in 2013, as a Recorder in 2016 and as a District Judge in 2016.
