Circuit Judge Appointment: Guite

The Queen has appointed Daren Guite to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Lancaster County Court with effect from 1 August 2022.

Background Information 

Daren Guite will be known as His Honour Judge Guite. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1997 and he was called to the Bar 2013 (Lincoln’s Inn). He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013 and as a District Judge in 2017.
