Circuit Judge Appointment: Heppenstall
The Queen has appointed Rachael Elizabeth Heppenstall to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester Family and County Court with effect from 2 September 2021.
Background Information
Rachael Elizabeth Heppenstall, aged 47, will be known as Her Honour Judge Heppenstall. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1997. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
