Circuit Judge Appointment: Hesford
The Queen has appointed Shelley Claire Hesford to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Chester County Court, with effect from 13 July 2022.
Background Information
Shelley Claire Hesford will be known as Her Honour Judge Hesford. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1991. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010, as a District Judge in 2015 and as a Recorder in 2019.
