Circuit Judge Appointment: Maylin
The King has appointed Kerry Maylin to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed her to the Midlands Circuit, based at Birmingham Crown Court with effect from 13 November 2023.
Kerry Maylin will be known as Her Honour Judge Maylin. She was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1994. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2022.
