Circuit Judge Appointment: Orchover
The King has appointed Frances Orchover to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Central Family Court with effect from 2 January 2024.
Frances Orchover will be known as Her Honour Judge Orchover. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1989. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013 and as a District Judge in 2021.
