Circuit Judge Appointment: Patel

The Queen has appointed Nassera Patel to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Lincoln County Court with effect from 6 September 2021.

Background Information

Nassera Patel, previously known as Nassera Maria Butt, aged 45, will be known as Her Honour Judge Patel. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1999. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Health, Education and Social Care Chamber) in 2019.
