Circuit Judge Appointment: Penelope Taylor
The Queen has appointed Penelope Jane Taylor to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Plymouth County Court with effect from 22 November 2021.
Background Information
Penelope Jane Taylor, aged 52, will be known as Her Honour Judge Penelope Taylor. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2005 and as a District Judge in 2010.
