Circuit Judge Appointment: Rayfield

His Majesty King Charles the third has appointed Kate Rayfield to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the then Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Brandon Lewis MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Kingston upon Hull Crown Court with effect from 08 November 2022.

Background Information

Kate Batty (nee Rayfield) will be known as Her Honour Judge Rayfield. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2001 and called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2011. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2020.
