Circuit Judge Appointment: Thain
The Queen has appointed Ashley Thain to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at East London Family Court with effect from 6 September 2021.
Background Information
Ashley Thain, aged 47, will be known as Her Honour Judge Thain. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1996. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2018.
