Circuit Judge Appointment: Thomas
The King has appointed Clive Thomas to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Medway County Court with effect from 9 October 2023.
Background Information
Clive Thomas will be known as His Honour Judge Clive Thomas. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1992 and he was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 2005. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2006 and as a District Judge in 2018.
