District Bench Retirement: Stonier
District Judge Bernadette Mary Stonier retires from the District Bench with effect from 1 May 2023.
Background information
District Judge Stonier was admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. She was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1999, a District Judge in 2006 and was a Civil Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2016 to 2023. She was the Chair of the National Judicial Appraisal and Training Committee from 2022 to 2023.
