District Judge Appointment: Akers
The King has appointed Robert Akers to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Brandon Lewis CBE MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Huddersfield County Court and Family Court with effect from Monday 24 October 2022.
Background Information
Robert Akers will be known as District Judge Akers. He was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 2003. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
