District Judge Appointment: Burman
The King has appointed Clare Burman to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Doncaster County Court, with effect from 13 November 2023.
Clare Burman will be known as District Judge Burman. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2002. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
