District Judge Appointment: Davies
The King has appointed Max Davies to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Wales Circuit, based at PontyPridd Civil and Family Court with effect from Monday 9 January 2023.

Max Davies will be known as District Judge Max Davies. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2005. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2019, as a Deputy District Judge in 2019 and as a Recorder in 2022.
