District Judge Appointment: Falzon
The King has appointed Maria-Cristina Falzon to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Newcastle Civil & Family Courts and Tribunals Centre, with effect from 2 January 2024.
Maria-Cristina Falzon will be known as District Judge Falzon. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2011. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020.
