District Judge Appointment: Harris

The Queen has appointed David Andrew Wallace Harris to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Wales Circuit, based at Swansea Civil Justice Centre with effect from 1 November 2021.

Background Information

David Andrew Wallace Harris, aged 57, will be known as District Judge Harris. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1990. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the Employment Tribunal (England and Wales) in 2002, as a Recorder in 2018 and as Deputy District Judge in 2019.
