District Judge Appointment: James
The King has appointed Russell James to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Plymouth County Court with effect from Monday 19 December 2022.
Russell James will be known as District Judge Russell James. He was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2001. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020.
