District Judge Appointment: Maddison
The King has appointed Simon Maddison to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre with effect from 3 April 2023.
Background Information
Simon Maddison will be known as District Judge Maddison. He was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 2008. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber in 2019.
