District Judge Appointment: Matthew Jenkins
The King has appointed Matthew Jenkins to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Brentford County Court, with effect from 13 November 2023.
Matthew Jenkins will be known as District Judge Matthew Jenkins. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2009. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020.
