District Judge Appointment: Murray
The King has appointed Charles Murray to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Torquay County Court, with effect from 6 November 2023.
Charles Murray will be known as District Judge Murray. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1997 and was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 2005. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2021.
