District Judge Appointment: Scott

The King has appointed David Scott to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon. 

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Kingston-upon-Hull Combined Court Centre, with effect from Tuesday 3 January 2023.  

Background Information

David Scott will be known as District Judge David Scott. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2019 and as a Deputy District Judge in 2021.
