District Judge Magistrates’ Courts) Appointment: Crangle

The King has appointed Charlotte Crangle to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon. 

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Thames Magistrates’ Court with effect from 11 April 2023.

Background Information

Charlotte Crangle will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Crangle. She was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1995. She was appointed as an Assistant Coroner in 2019.
