District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Appointment: Khanna
The King has appointed Sunil Khanna to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court with effect from 6 February 2023.

Sunil Khanna will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Khanna. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2020.
