Judge of the Upper Tribunal (Administrative Appeals Chamber) Retirement: Hemingway
Upper Tribunal Judge Mark Richard Hemingway retires with effect from 23 September 2023.
Background information
Upper Tribunal Judge Hemingway was admitted as a Solicitor in 1987. He was appointed an Immigration Adjudicator and a Legally Qualified Panel Member of the Appeal Tribunals in 2002. He was appointed an Immigration Judge (now known as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber)) in 2007 and a Deputy Upper Tribunal Judge (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in 2010. He was appointed as a Judge of the Upper Tribunal (Administrative Appeals Chamber) in 2014.
