Judge Christine Jane Martin retires with effect from 31 March 2022.
Background information
Judge Martin (65) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1982. She was appointed a Legal Member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal in 1996, a Special Immigration Adjudicator in 2003 and an Immigration Judge in 2005. She was appointed a Resident Immigration Judge and Senior Immigration Judge (now known as an Upper Tribunal Judge (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in 2006. She was appointed a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Health, Education and Social Care Chamber)) in 2011 and was an Upper Tribunal Judge Member of the Tribunal Procedure Rule Committee from 2017 to 2020.
