Her Bar Seminar

The seminar

This seminar is organised on behalf of the Judicial Diversity Committee in collaboration with Her Bar to assist with implementation of the Judicial Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, with the aim of encouraging women, particularly those from a minority ethnic background, to consider applying for the Judicial Work Shadowing Scheme (JWSS) and Judicial Mentoring Scheme (JMS).

The online only seminar will take place via Microsoft Teams on Monday 16th January between 5:30pm – 6:30pm.  HHJ Dafna Spiro and TJ Thaira Bibi will lead the seminar, with contributions from Judicial Office staff.

The seminar aims to help applicants understand the benefits of JWSS and JMS, to better prepare the attendees to make an application for judicial appointment. This will help the members of Her Bar to assess the various roles that are available to them in the judiciary and then to make an informed decision on the type of court or judicial role they would be interested in.

Who should attend?

This opportunity is open to all Her Bar Community and any legal professionals interested in learning more about working at the Judiciary.
